Creating a frameless template for the web-shop - Creating a HTML template

After the graphical design is ready, a Web Designer should create HTML-code (a template) based on designs.

A skilled web designer uses appropriate applications and other tools, such as Macromedia Dreamweaver, to create hiqh quality and flawless HTML code. There are a set of validators that you can use to check your code, such as W3C Markup Validation Service.

It is highly recommended to use CSS (Cascading Style Sheet) to adjust fonts, colors, dimensions and placement of elements.

The files (style-sheets, pictures etc.) can be stored either in your own web server or in Workspace File Manager. For instructions on how to use Workspace file manager, see HOWTO document:
Howto point to pictures and files in File Manager

When you have the shop layout in HTML format and and you have succesfully tested the HTML-template with major browsers and validators, you are ready to use it in Workspace.
