Requirements

1. Server software

• Apache Tomcat 5
• JDK 1.5.X or newer
• For SSL support JSSE 1.0.2 or higher.

2. Database

• MySQL 4, MySQL 5, or PostgreSQL

3. Operating systems
All operating systems that support JDK 1.5.X, e.g.:

• Linux
• BSD
• Windows NT/2000/XP
• Solaris
• Mac OS X

4. Hardware
All hardware platforms that support required operating systems, databases and server software can be used. An example of a small test server:

• Intel / AMD Processor 2 Ghz
• 1 GB of RAM
• 1 GB of hard disk space

For high loads, high availability and fault tolerance, more sophisticated infrastructure is naturally recommended.
